ANNOUNCEMENTS for NATURAL HEALTH / GREEN LIVING ADVOCATES in the Greater Richmond Community
* Richmond's 2011 Natural Living Directory will be available in January at over 400 distribution sites in Greater Richmond (25,000 copies printed). As the 5th annual resource guide for natural health and green living, it will include over 200 listings of local businesses and practitioners. This wellness / natural living directory has proven to be a valuable resource for readers to refer to throughout the year.
Late listings (in one or more categories) will be accepted until December 3rd. The Directory is the focus of the January/February 2011 Natural Awakenings magazine (not a separate publication). You may grow your business with a basic listing for an affordable $75 (additional listings only $50). Download the Submission Form and Directions for the Directory:
Another feature for January will be a Green Living Guide (in the form of color business card size ads) to highlight green businesses in Richmond. This special one-time run is $125 (camera-ready cost; layout is $25 additional). A package offer includes this business card size ad and a basic directory listing for $175 (contract advertisers receive a discount).

* Natural Awakenings sponsors a Networking Night for natural living / wellness professionals and businesses several times a year. These events provide an opportunity to connect, share and create community with other practitioners / businesses in an open house type, informal, meet and greet venue. There is a $5 door fee (no RSVP needed), light snacks/ beverages. Future dates will be announced here, as well as in the magazine.

- This online calendar is totally independent of the magazine print calendar (see Editorial Guidelines for the print calendar details and submission form).
* Natural Awakenings will soon provide a Natural Health Speakers Network on this site. If your club or organization needs speakers for your monthly meetings, you can obtain a speaker who will educate on various natural healthcare topics. We will post a list of speakers with links to their directory listing in the Resource Guide, speaker bio, and contact information. In the meantime, feel free to peruse our Natural Healthcare Directory for possible speakers in any of the many categories listed.
